Take a look at an atom. We think of it as kind of a hard ball. Then we say, oh, well, not really, it’s this little tiny point of really dense matter right at the centre, surrounded by a kind of fluffy probability cloud of electrons popping in and out of existence.
All of this really is just a great illusion.
