Aerospace – Sitting On A Stone

[..] right in, and I covered my head
When I woke up, I knew I’d be going
in whatever direction the wind would be blowing

So I headed down south, and out of the woods
Walking the road and searching my roots
Days went fast and years flew by
I walked low and I walked high.

I had to climb one thousand mountains,
I had to cross two thousand rivers,
I must have sailed the seven oceans
And now I’m on the crossroads, which way am I going?

I’m sitting on a stone
Waiting for dawn
Tomorrow’s gonna come
And I will be gone

Sitting on a stone
And I’m waiting for dawn
Tomorrow’s gonna come
Gotta move on

Sitting on a stone
Just to wait for dawn
Tomorrow’s gonna come
And I will be gone

Just, sitting on a stone
Waiting for dawn
Tomorrow’s gonna come
So I gotta move on

Feeling kinda picky when we’re coming to land
Again I’m in a place I haven’t been yet
Where I am now, I really can’t tell
Is this the gateway to heaven or hell?

I’m looking around, God what is this place?
People staring at me like I landed from space
What do they see, what do they know
I feel like a stranger wherever I go

The revolution’s coming and I know where I stand
In the middle of main street with a gun in my hand
The dust in my eyes, the sun in my face
I gotta take myself far away from this place.

I got no time for revolutions
They are nothing but illusions
They just lead to more confusion
Time to find my own solution.

On a big screen TV
an announcer appears
he says “Ladies and gents, the future is here.

I felt it was coming a long time ago
and now that it’s here, tell me where do I go

So now I’m in the desert just sitting here
waiting for the …. white to appear
Rivers stop flowing when they get to the sea
and only when I get there am I gonna be free

Sitting on a stone
Just to wait for dawn
Tomorrow’s gonna come
And I will be gone

Sitting on a stone
Waiting for dawn,
Tomorrow’s gonna come
I’ve gotta move on

I’m sitting on a stone
And I’m waiting for dawn
Tomorrow’s gonna come
So I’ve gotta get stoned…
