“In which you can only communicate with other human beings. Only humans have consciousness and so humans can communicate … between each other. So within that ontology, if you see a plant, a mountain, the wind, the sun, animals and so on, well, you might try to be connected with them, you might appreciate them, you might even respect them, you might find meanings from them, but they never directly communicate to you. They don’t send special messagens or signals to you.”
