Those substances exist to put you in touch with spirits beyond yourself, with the creator, with the creative impulse of the planet. Once you can accept the universe as matter expanding into nothing that is something, wearing stripes with plaid comes easy. The universe is full of stars, if you can’t find one, be one. Life lived in the absence of the psychedelic experience that primordial shamanism is based on is life trivialized, life denied, life enslaved to the ego. It is only when I am alone that I truely feel connected to the entire universe. Light is one, so let us be of one heart. Love is one, so let us be of one soul. The universe is one, so let us be of one mind, heart, and soul.
